This research was conducted by Kantar Public in partnership with More In Common. Research has been conducted since June 2021 to understand public perceptions and experiences around inequality and the rising cost of living.
This report was authored by colleagues across both organisations:
For each wave of research, data was collected from a representative sample of c1,000 adults in Great Britain. For the latest wave of the research, 1,091 adults in Great Britain were interviewed between the 27th and 29th September 2022. Details of the fieldwork dates and sample sizes for previous waves of the research are published as part of the technical notes accompanying the data tables. All interviews were conducted online using the Kantar Research Express. The Kantar online access panel was the main sample source.
Data is weighted to the sample to ensure that it is representative of the general public in Great Britain aged 18+. The data is weighted to match population totals for age, gender, 2019 General Election voting patterns, 2016 EU referendum voting patterns, education, region, and likelihood to vote in the next General Election. Further details on the weighting are provided as part of the technical notes accompanying the data tables.
