Wellbeing
Supporting the moments that matter
Why is Wellbeing important?
People are at the heart of everything we do. By focussing on Wellbeing, we can create an environment where we can all be at our best. We want everyone at Kantar to understand how they can maintain their own good health, and know how to proactively and collectively support each other.
At Kantar, we strive to offer every employee the right support, at the right time, in that moments the matter to them.
Our four pillars of Wellbeing
At Kantar, we have four interconnected pillars of Wellbeing, to ensure we are providing a holistic approach and support in the care of our people.
This four pillar approach ensures our support goes beyond the focus of mental health, and that we focus on maintaining positive Wellbeing through both prevention and treatment.
Each pillar of wellbeing works to support the others. If one falls down, so do the others. That's why it's important to look after every single pillar of Wellbeing.
The four pillars
- Mental Health - is how we feel and being emotionally and psychologically healthy. Good Mental Wellbeing is having resilience to deal with life's challenges, whatever they may be.
- Physical Health - is how we feel in our bodies through good nutrition, keeping active, getting enough sleep - overall keeping a healthy balanced lifestyle.
- Social and work-life balance - is how we feel as individuals and maintaining healthy relationships with others. It means having a sense of personal belonging and a good balance between both personal and work commitments.
- Financial Health - is feeling secure and in control of our finances. Knowing how to save, budget and manage finances effectively can prevent feeling overwhelmed with stress and worry.

Employee Assistance Programme
What is an Employee Assistance Programme?
Employee Assistance Programmes, also known as EAPs, provide colleagues and their close family members with a wealth of valuable support and information around health and wellbeing topics including; exercise, sleep, healthy eating, how to maintain a good work-life balance, childcare and eldercare guidance, debt and legal advice, and many more.
Perhaps most helpful is that our EAP can also give all individuals across Kantar and their families, access to subject professionals who can support and guide them with specific challenges that are personal to them, for example, Psychologists to support with psychological issues or Financial Advisors to advise on debt or legal worries.
Why do I need to know about our EAP?
At times life can be uncertain and challenges to our Wellbeing can affect any of us, our colleagues or family members, at any time. If one area of our Wellbeing falls down, it's easy for other areas of our lives to also become impacted. That's why it's important to know how and when to get support when you need it most - that's where our Employee Assistance Programme comes in.
But positive Wellbeing is not just knowing about how to get effective treatment and advice for challenges - it's knowing how to prevent them in the first place. Accessing support resources regularly is a great way to maintain all areas of your Wellbeing.
